Well there was a lesson learn today... As you can see by my bio I was proud of a new addition to our family. A bouncing baby Daewoo DH130-2 excavator, so I thought/w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif. Been dealing with guy via emails and phone up until the 25th which was the last time I had contact with him(by email). Was starting to get worried...real worried... already fronted the remaining funds needed to get the lien release so he says. Finally couldn't stand it anymore so I contacted his bank that I had the funds wired to. What?????better contact your local law enforcement office...Why? ...We are looking for him along with quite a few others with the help of Las Vegas Detective. SOB! [cry]By the looks of it he has skipped town or at least is lost in a casino or something/w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif with no intent of contacting anyone of the "buyers". That fellow was so shallow that we had pleasant conversations via phone and emails about the present situation with 9/11 and even his family (well if he even has one). Just when you build up trust for fellow human beings this kind of crap has to kick you right in the teeth. Dang I was trying to do my part with our economy and so was this guy. Not good or funny but do have to laugh at stupidity on my half or I would probably go crazy /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif which isn't out of the question yet.

I've made reports out and just wanted to put a "heads up" out there so others don't fall into the trap of thieves. !#$@)(*@#&$(*#$&)#@(*$&@#()()*$^!@)$(*!@#$(*&.

Don't give up on humanity, I've been there too, with so much bitterness I could taste it for days.

Just like enjoying your manicured property, or new horse pasture and realizing you just stepped where the dog just did his businesss, in your deep tread boots, it's out there, we all step in it sometimes, but we keep walking.

Oh Darin -- that's awful!!! You probably had a big list of things you were going to do with that puppy, and had spent many a happy hour dreaming about it. I'm sorry you had to get hit with this crap. Hang in there!

Really sorry to hear about your loss. Anymore I try and pay for anything fishy with my VISA. They protect you from things like that. I figure if a guy can't accept a credit card they must not be too worthy. I only know that because I've been where you are. Two years ago I met a cattle broker at an auction. He told me he had 25 registeered heifers that a guy had put a deposit on and then couldn't come up with the money. Well everyone there knew the guy so I figured he was alright. He had the heifers in his cattle truck and they were pretty! He said he could deliver them in two days even. Well he sold them for a dang good price, should have clicked. I payed him and expected my cattle in two days. Well the guy never showed. It seems he made the same deal with 40 other guys. He made off with $13k from each of us. They later caught him and we got about 10k back. It took over a year though. So yes I feel your pain and it sucks@!
