Its been blowing in South East Michigan all night. Winds gust in excess of 50 mph. What a change from yesterday. High of 72 degrees and sunny to today's high of 40 degrees and cloudy. Tonight we are going to drop below freezing and snow for tomorrow. Winter is on it's way./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

The only good part is all the leaves in the yard are being blown over to the neighbors./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
See attached picture.
Top view is from yesterday.
Bottom is this morning.

Anybody else getting this weather change?/w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif

'Bout the same change here in central PA. It hit 81 yesterday. Today, temps in the mid 50s.

SE Iowa had 65 degrees yesterday and today it's 39 with 30 mph winds. We had 60 mph winds come through last night and they are saying a chance for snow flurries tonight.

Yep, that cold front hit here last night, as forecast. Down to 50 this morning, and only 74 right now. Just finished tilling the garden and mowing the yard./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Sure, rub it in./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif I do remember a while back. When all you could do was stay inside and play with your computer, because it was to hot outside./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

North Central Indiana, 67 yesterday, 37 today. South Bend area got unconfirmed 5 tornadoes at 4:00PM. Lots of damaged homes and thousands of trees down. Power won't be restored to 50 thousand customers for a week. Only 1 death in next county to the east. 30 injured. Amazing so much damage with so little injurey. See www.southbendtribune.com for information.

That same system came through West Central Ohio last night. We had tornado warnings, .5" rain, and wind up to 76 MPH. Today it started out at 37 degrees and the wind has been between 26 & 49 MPH all day. The sun did come out and it got up to the low 50's, but the wind chill will still frost your nubbins.
We're building a new house, so I went up to look at it this morning half expecting to see it all on the ground, but everything was OK, WHEW!!

Not that much damage around here. A couple of schools closed and some power lose. Hardest hit was East Lansing. Home of Michigan State University. Just caught a little on news. Don't know how much damage.
