Well since I'm a new tractor owner I just had fire it up and do something....So I ran down a dead peach tree
It left a little stump behind so I might try and dig
that out tomorrow with the backhoe.

Bowled a 205 my last game today. This is my high score since converting to left handed bowling about a year ago. Took me about 5 different ways of throwing the ball to get one with the right comfort and flexibility to get spares.

No tractor time today though. Loaded the 4 bags of mulch I bought at Lowes into the bucket, had lunch, went on our usual after lunch hike with the wife, went and got church van to take it to get fuel ($74 worth) and then to Ford place for AC work, home, mowed some (with walk behind), finished my master gardener newsletter and sent it out. Now on web.

Not much --

Went to the local industrial paint dealer for Dupont that carries the industrial paints. Uh - they don't have the Corlar 2.1 PR, but they can get it in 1-2 weeks. Duh! Found a place in Ill that will ship it to me in 1/2 week at at a discount from the local guys.

Got my 30 gal sprayer running. Clogged nozzles, stuck pump (oops!), clogged fuel filter - stupid briggs design where you have to remove the tank and carb to dump tank and clean screen.

Sprayed 30 gal of Poast Plus on my white pine trees to kill the grass that is choking them out.

Greased the wheel bearings and set the brakes on the trailer.

Put the tractor on the trailer and the trailer on the truck in anticipation of tomorrows work moving saw logs and fire wood.

Cleaned up apple tree trimmings (10 trees trimmed - 40 to go)

In general, goofed off!

Went to work
trenched and laid 280' of 12" DI waterline by 1pm.
found dirty dirt. (hydrocarbons)
called testing agency to sample dirt.
spent next 4 hours looking at a trench.

note to self; you gotta quit digging on old Navy bases.
