Picked up one of my best friends at the airport.

We met each other on our last day of civilian life almost 39 years ago before we entered the Navy. We are now both USN retired and are still trading lies with each other about the Good Old Days (still got some great ones ahead too .)

Attended the youngest kid's High School graduation. Kind of a happy/sad occasion. She's really happy; I'm happy for her, too, but kind of sad to see her grown up already.

Congratulations to your family. They grow up fast don't they. My youngest also graduated this year.

I had to work the weekend night shift, but when I get off this morning, I'll be ready to start on my list for this week. Find parts for tractor, put back together, weed the garden, mow yard (price of gas, may just let it go), pick vegetables, maintenance on cars (oil changes). Take daughter to airport Wed morning 3am, she's flying to Virginia to meet fiance. If it doesn't rain me out, I should be able to get all this done before coming back to work Friday morning. That's just my list, no telling what the wife has lined up for me
