POR 15 makes a kit to repair motorcycle fuel tanks.......a bit pricey but the stuff does get rid of rust, coats the inside of the tank, and fixes small holes.......YES, I have tried it on my 1975 BMW R90, and for me was totally worth the money and effort......Dennis

If you download the product manual from harbor freight, the last page, and it's really hard to see, shows the bolt pattern being 3.625" or 3 5/8" which would be the same as the 6hp tecumseh. The shaft appears to be 3/4" in diameter and 2 7/16" long with the 3/16" keyway. I would call Harbor Freight customer service to confirm and also confirm what you have.

I think you will be fine with that little 5 horse BS; it may a little lite on power but certainly usable. 2manyrocks got it right - the older Troy builts had a 6hp tecumseh engine. Cheers!
