Troy Bilt Horse Transmission Manual

Is there a place online I can get a transmission service manual for an older horse(non-PTO) to download for a fee or even better free?

I see them on ebay for 30 bucks or for 14 if you buy a CD....

Anyone that can push me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it?

Oh, I didn't see it on MTDs website.

Also, I'm going to need a seal kit and gasket kit. Is ebay the best place or is there an online retailer that is reasonable for this type of stuff?

the first troybilt i ever bought, came with a manual that showed how to completely take the transmission apart an rebuild it: sure wish i had hung on to that manual..if you have any luck let me know...i am on the verge of paying the $14 on ebay for the cd

That is exactly the manual I am looking for. I just pick up a 1981 with 8 HP Briggs. I need to replace all the tranny seals.
