Default Anyone ever converted old Troy Bilt Horse pull start to electric start

I am almost sure this is the setup for a electric start conversion. Anyone ever tried it. The red wire was just hanging there and the cover should be where the starter goes into the flywheel. Ideas?? thanks, scott

I'd take the cover off and make sure that the flywheel has a ring gear. There may not be a generating coil under the flywheel, but if not, you could still mount a starter and battery and just charge it as needed off a battery charger.
