Can anyone tell me, or translate the 3 diagrams on my Yanmar RS1400 Tiller? The diagram shows 3 different configurations, but I can't translate to English.
Thanks,
According to Tractor Ernie, to set up the tiller tines is "Easy... point the tip of the tine to the side that the nut bolts on. Remember the bolt head goes in the slot, (not the nut) That's the factory setting."
According to Mickey_FX in the same thread, and Hoye tractors the orientation of the tines allow you to get different results from the tiller: Piled toward the center for hilling, grooved, or level.
I would assume the factory setting gives smooth dirt, but I don't know. The imported Japanese tillers have a variety of adjustments on them to provide various results in the finished soil.
