Chain vs. Gear Drive
Just wanted to get some opinions on the pros and cons of chain drive or gear drive in tillers. My 20 year old tiller, a Snapper, has chain drive and I had to take it apart quite a few times to replace master links on the chain. Just wondering if gear drive would eliminate that problem only to leave me with other problems.
Thanks,
Don

Re: Chain vs. Gear Drive
Don..........Judging by the number of Troy-bilts that are still turning the wheels on gears, I would say that the decision is in.............Chains and belts are made for machines that break and need replacing. Gears go on and on and on.........God bless......Dennis
