PTO Rototiller -- what brand
Hi Folks,
I am looking into rototillers and after doing some reading in this forum I have decided its probably best to go with PTO type of machine. My garden is small now but in the next couple of years I plan on expanding it to about 1200-1500 sq feet.
I have a Ford 1710 to power it. It has 24 hp at the pto.
I have called a couple of local equipment dealers & both have a machine in stock.
One has a 58" Land Pride with a slip clutch.
The other has a 55" machine with a slip clutch that has the JD name on it although he doesn't think they themselves make it.
The price difference between the two is $100 so that's not an issue.
Does anyone have any experience with these machine? I'd also be interested in any info on machines made by other companies.
Thanks.

You might want to look at a Gear Drive CCM MR-160 tiller $995.
