Default What to do with excess tomatoes...a new idea.

Here's a link to a very successful entrepreneur with a business in Austin and land near Gauss (not too far from me, TxDon, and TexBaylea).

    Boggy Creek Farm - Larry's Smoke-dried Tomatoes

A friend of mine showed me this. I have not tried them myself. But I hear they are great.
there are 2 kinds of oats. Oats in front of a horse, and oats behind the horse.

Kyle, I like that idea so much I may retire and sell smoked tomatoes myself.

If they are anything like sun-dried tomatoes, I may be my own best customer.

Man, thems good! Audri likes to make smoked salsa (just smoke the individual ingrediants, then cut and mix) when we smoke, as an outcrop a few years ago I did about 3 pounds of tomato slices. Really, really good.

I find they won't do in my propane smoker as it is wetter than my old wood smoker.

Gause is just a wide spot in the road over on Hwy 190. Bet his tomato patch would be easy to find there.

Kyle, I'm just across the Yegua from you over in Lyons.
