Really fun to throw them in the fire and listen for the 'pop'.
Neighbor has a donkey. The geese were rounding up the donkey and pecking at its legs. Neighbor thought the geese (domestic) were being mean to it. Later the donkey started visiting the geese and gently picking up each foot for them, one at a time. Turns out they were picking off the ticks for food!! Nice relationship! Wish i had a goose in my life to pick off the parasites!!
