International Plowing Match Starts Today
For those of you who enjoy plowing matches the "International Plowing Match" in Teeswater, Ontario (Bruce County) starts today September 16 to Saturday September 20. This is a huge event. Get out the hiking boots if you plan to see the entire 1000 acres of events and exhibitions. They expect over 100,000 visitors.
2008 International Plowing Match
There will be hundreds if not thousands of tractors at this event. Last year when it was in Crosby it was an amazing spectacle. It's like they built a town at the host farm. Parking was 14 Kms away from the gate and shuttle busses delivered you. Helicopters, balloons and of course lots of ag equipment and people. I've never seen anything like it.
I passed by during the event but had other commitments so I could not stop.
