We have two horses, and I built a small pole barn for them. After spending 3 weekends building it, I decided I do not want to build another one! Now my garage is used for hay, feed, and tack storage. Yes, I should have planned this when I built the pole barn, but I was not thinking just building.
I have some things I need to address.
1. A place to park the tractor and implements. (This can be almost anywhere on the property)
2. A place for the tack and feed. ( I prefer this near the stalls)
A. Should I purchase a pre-made 10X12 with 7' ceilings for $1500 installed. Located next to stalls.
B. Buy a metal building kit 20x30 for $5000-$6000? But I could not locate this near the stalls
C. Do both?
Any better ideas? Of course I am trying to be cost effective and make sure I don't build another pole barn without a tack room.
Thanks,
Joe
