Bit late this morning...
37 degrees with a high of 47 predicted. Breezy and clear.
Yesterday, I wrote I had to go try to clean up the mess the well drillers left in the side yard. That was semi-successful. The yard was not as dry as I thought and I sank the front axle into the ruts. Took a bit of FEL action and differential lock to get out, leaving ruts in the yard perpendicular to the well drilling rig's ruts. I could fill and back fill from the parking area (hard packed gravel) and, as long as I kept the rear tires (with chains) on the gravel, I did OK.
Colder today, so I might try again and see what happens.
I had better success with the driveway itself. That looks really good.
I still have a pile of spoils (stone dust) from the drilling to take care of...but it will be a wasted effort if the ground is still soft.
And, as I'd written, the old well producing water like a champ!!
