Re: Good morning!!!!
Good morning! I can hear it. The north wind has just hit the trees. It will soon cool down a bit. Yesterday evening at 7pm we were walking in 101* heat for the last time this year.
Temp now 79 but with the DRY norther pushing in it will only rise to the low 90's today. Humidity will drop to 10%. A red flag fire day.
I'm anxiously anticipating tomorrow morning when I will get to shiver in the 60 degrees weather.
I will soon have a choice of morning or evening runs.TXDon

Another nice sunny day with a high of around 80.
Have picked blackberries 4 times now, great crop with lots in the freezer.

Boy, it sure was nice sleeping in this morning!!
I've got to catch up on some outdoor chores. The lawn is looking like a jungle!!
As far as the job...going pretty good. I'm doing supplier visits (which was not part of the job description), but I enjoy that type of thing. The downside is it looks like I'm going to be a road warrior for a while, including some overnight trips. I'm OK with this, but I know my wife won't be. We'll have to see how this goes...Roy Jackson

Always be willing to admit your shortcomings, there is no shame in not knowing how to do something. The shame is in NOT admitting you don't know how to do it.
If you have a small truck, limit yourself to small loads, if you want to carry the big stuff, get a big truck.
Never be ashamed of making a mistake. The only people who never (bleep) up are people who never try to do something new.

Re: Good morning!!!!
68 here now, got a half inch of rain last night, I am in the process of replacing the shingles and siding I removed in the attempt to locate the water leak out front...that rain produced no sign of leakage so I am closing things back up. Beautiful day to be outdoors, sunny, nice breeze, and partly cloudy...for me this is the ideal type of weather. Wish I could share my tomato crop with those here who have none, I swear some of them are the best I have ever grown during nearly 20 years of gardening.

09-08-2012 Late post today. Our Son and I were busy for three hours picking up trash and litter on the sides of the roadways in our area. Currently 86 degrees. We are in a Severe Weather Warning until 10:00PM. Severe weather is forecast for many states.

Re: Good morning!!!!
Got back from NC last night, we had over 8" of rain here while I was away. 4" fell in one day! My grass was wheat like this morning but I whacked it!
Had to put a new deck belt on the zero turn and while I was at the lawn mower shop I found a Toro commercial 48" zero turn that a landlord/lawyer just replaced to the tune $5500 for tax purposes. This mower has 52 hours, a bagging system and the whole thing looks like new for $1500! I told him I'd take it!
