17 degrees and light snow...looks like light snow most of the day.
    Predicted high is 36 degrees.

I would describe a Texas Room as a large game room with the interior of old barn wood and used roof tin. Various dead animal would be hanging on the walls - goats, snakes, armadillos, rabbits (the ones with horns) and a white tailed deer. The bar is wooded and looks like a saloon out of a western movie, there is a pool table, a old pinball machine, an antique slot machine, and tables for card games. The light is a wagon wheel chandelier. Somewhere in the mix there is a set of longhorns, a branding iron and pictures of hills/deserts/cactus.
    Don,

That is pretty tempting... I had/have a man cave in my big house in town, now my tenants play pool on my table...

I've always thought when I build one, I'd make it look like a classic Irish Pub... But I might like a Texas Room just as much...

A few more things - a large star, a Texas flag, old tractor seat bar stools, and old spurs hanging on the wall. A saddle bar stool thrown in the bunch of tractor bar stools will give you extra credit.

I thought Ron was talkin' about a room full of snowbirds discussing how bad the weather was back home.

A brisk 61F this AM, also our low for the night, a bit of wind adding a "chill". Funny to see the Honolulu weather and news people talk about our cold snap LOL

The garage door will move forward. Debating whether to do myself (no electric closer) or hire done). As for the people door, I have another exactly like it I never installed so I'll install the spare frame and move the door with the hardware. Existing wall will remain, while the wall itself might be considered removable, there are posts and beams inside that support the whole roof. The garage itself is made from a SIP called ProTec.

HAHHHH !!!! This thread is now only a dozen posts from passing that stupid inane thread, whose name, out of courtesy, will now no longer be mentioned by me. Up to 39 here right now, most of the snow has melted. Weird (just like the crazy cat guy)
