Good afternoon all. 9F this morning, headed for a high of 25F and sunny and NO wind . Takes a while for the kerosene heater to warm the garage at these cold temps .

Don, that's the old opposing team's name. In the '70s the Globetrotters decided to make it look like they were playing different teams. They gave their opposing team a bunch of different names and uniforms so it looked like it wasn't always the same opposing team. I think there have been 6 or 8 team names and I don't know who it is now. In one game, the New Jersey Reds (a.k.a. paid losers) got hot and actually beat the Globetrotters. I would love to have been a 'fly on the wall' in the dressing room after that game.

Jim, the Washington Generals has always been my team. I can remember back in 1962 and in 1971 when they won! Of course since 1972 they are in a slump of 10,000 losses. I think the Globe-trotters cheat, watch them closely tonight. (The refs might even be in on the take).

Be sure to take your "Go Generals sign" and the number 1 finger!

Good luck today Roy, hope all goes easily.
On my end, everything went fine...of course, we're 500 miles from York PA.
Now, the realtor and settlement agent had last minute panic attacks...couldn't find some receipts for work I had paid for. They did, eventually.

Update here, 15 degrees and a really stiff breeze blowing to the east, darn it I can cope with cold temps okay but if the wind is blowing that makes it more difficult.

DANG IT IS COLD!!!! But the stars are brilliant! Must be 19 or 20 degrees outside. I just got home from my meeting and I was putting the small wagon I use to haul hay/feed up the hill to the horses away when I realized my daughter left one of the food buckets up in the pasture, so I ran up the hill with a flashlight to grab it.

No big deal except I'm in my JAMMIES!
