I just saw that the forecast is for rain Friday night and Saturday. It's up to a 60% chance of rain, so I'm thinking things are really starting to improve around here!!!!

That's my "feel" too, at least it seems a bit normal. They keep saying we are still in a severe drought and I suspect over all that is true. The larger lakes I drive by, are still very low, but I think at this point the municipal water supply's, or at least the lake fed cities are the most impacted as far as that is concerned. If the drought runs through next fall as some suggest, this coming summer may pale this last one.

Did you see this story or others about Groesbeck. One story said the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department has given them permission to run a pipeline across Fort Parker State Park to get water from that rock quarry.
