Just curious as to the different animals that we encounter in different parts of our world.
We have as follows.

Kangaroos Pain, eat our grass and shrubs in garden and wreck fences.
Wallabys as above
Bandicoots Love 'em, but dig holes all over our lawn looking for grubs and worms
Hares Not a problem as there are not many
Echidnas No problems so long as the dogs keep away from them.
Snakes Big worry at times. Keep trying to eat our parrots, not forgetting the danger to humans.
Foxes Not many and dogs keep them away
Koalas Cute and no problems
Deer Rarely on our place but not a problem
Goannas Pain, Keep trying to grab our ducks and guinea fowl and raid their nests. Dogs chase them
and a controversial one, Panthers have been sighted by myself (1) and several neighbours, but no problems here. My daughter and her husband have also seen one each and they live on a property about 30 klm from mine.

We have:

White tail deer: they eat our crops
Moose: scare our horses and our crops
Black bears: They eat our garbage, bird feeders, and the occasional human
Turkey: rummage through the garden, and horse manure
Bobcats: They eat mice and rodents
Grey, and Red Fox: Chicken Thieves
Coyote: they eat our barn cats
Skunks: they wreck the garden by digging up grubs
Raccoons: rabies infested creatures that eat trash and cat food
Fisher cats: nasty tempered creatures
Horses: they make my wife happy and make tons of work for me and cost lots of money
Hens: The fox keeps stealing them
Moles, Voles, Owls, Hawks, Turkey Vultures, Garter snakes, orange newts, frogs, and the occasional Eagle, but only soaring way above our heads.
a very loyal old dog: she eats my food

In more or less permanent residence

Passing through to varying degrees I have;

Black bear (mainly when the blueberry field out back is ripe)
Wild turkeys
Coyotes
Fox
Raccoon
Moose
Deer
Weasel

Crows
Pileated woodpecker
Downy woodpecker

Oh yeah, also one dog has taken up residence. :D

Intentional animals in residence include: sheep, hogs, chickens, ducks, and one cat. And of course, the missus, myself, and our son.

For wildlife, we see a lot of rabbits in the spring, before the juveniles have learned to make themselves scarce; woodpeckers (not a lot of them, but very noticeable); skunks; crows. We see a wild turkey on the property now and then, but they are pretty wily and disappear fast. Hardly a deer, although I think they must be around. We hear coyotes, but I have never seen one on my property, nor found scat--electric fence may be discouraging them. There is something or other digging the heck out of my entire property--gophers or groundhogs I think. The cat has caught a mole or two, but the holes are too big for moles. Oh, and possums of course. Big ugly possums with mouths full of nasty teeth. For a while we set cat food on the front porch, and the possums were running the cats off!

I haven't seen one, but the neighbours have. A Fierce Owl. It is one of the few possum predators and took one of the neighbours possums.
I guess it would do the same to cats.
