Just wanted to pass along my little project for water storage in the vent of power loss.We loose it several time a year, and while I have a generator for the pump, I wanted some extra storage for toilet flushing. this is what I came up with.
What Im particularily glad about is that I had a well pitless adapter avail dues to having to just replace mine. It made for an excellant exit point on the tank....Now all I need is a 1 inch to 3/4 bushing to attach and old water heater spigot to it, I made a platform to hold it high as to fill a bucket. I had a water heater in its spot before so have a stub of water line that I plan to hook into for water input to the tank.
So the main thing here is. if anyone does this you might consider the pitless for the connection, Possibly getting a free or reduced p[rice on a used one from someone who does wells.
The rest of it all is used stuff I had in stock.
