All I am saying is that it might be worth zero and it might be worth ten times what you are asking. But your 10k has nothing to do with it's current value.

Ah ok gotcha. How would you approach this? Ask for an offer or start with a price? No worries I am not holding you to legal advice.... 
Just trying to figure out what to do. I don't want to run the guy off but I also don't want to screw myself over. Another poster did have a good idea about some bartering. I know my Dad could use some grading and so could I.

He said he could move it. He has property close by. From what it sounds like he has the resources and his only cost would be raising the utilities and arranging escort.

I would get him to throw out an offer. I bet it's a dollar or he gets the foundation out of there.

I would make sure he hadapplicable insurance and put in writing exactly what he was going to do, and what state he was going to leave your property in.
My father had the old family homestead torn down and cleaned up (foundation filled in, etc) and all he paod for was a big dumpster. Still he made them post a bond.

How can you move a Brick house???
My sisterinlaw just had a big farm house moved a year ago. It was half log and half brick. Wolfe movers out of Bernville PA did the move. They have videos on their web site. It is hard to believe that the whole thing doesn't just crumble. They knock holes in the foundation and insert steel I beams. They put more steel under the brick part. They block up and wedge up the house then jack the house up about 8 feet and push in the foundation and grade it out. Then they put hydraulic wheel sets under the steel and drive it out on the hole and into the new hole then block it up and call the masons to build the new foundation under it. They told my sisterinlaw that she didn't have to move anything out of the house. They claim that you could leave a glass of water on the counter and it wouldn't spill. It is amazing to see.

Basically a house to be moved has just about zero value. Them having the equipment and know-how to do it changes that a bit but not a lot.
I would ask for the 10k and accept whatever the counter offer is.

I just got rid of a house that I bought that was next door to my property. It had a lot of termite damage and I just wanted the property and wanted the house gone. I placed an ad for a few weeks to get offers on moving it or tearing it down and hauling off the materials.
I had a couple of people offer to do it if I would give them $2000 but they had no insurance and were not very experienced. Most people wanted $4000 up to move it and I finally got a local contractor to do the job for $4000. He demoed it, hauled things off and put a few truckloads of sand down after.
