I ran a cow calf operation for 20 yrs and it can be done and done well, I know many that did. I advice is start out with fewer cows than you think and build up. It is easier to do that than to have to many and have to get rid of some. Get yourself a goog book or two on intensive grazing and there is a "news paper" on the subject but can't think of the name now, but it is full of good info. Maby someone else knows the name.
