This years steer produced these strip steaks ! I'm with u grumpy, nothing tastes better than home grown beef.

Those steaks look really good! Better than what I see out here in the supermarkets. Do you brush your cows and give them baths. :D haha, just kidding!

The Warm Springs Tribes in Oregon have discussed opening a horse slaughterhouse, but I don't think it has gone past talking. Too many politics, even if it would bring desperately needed jobs.

A butcher in a village near me specialises in exotic meats - crocodile, kangaroo & zebra.
I've tried them all, minced & made in to burgers by the butcher - all delicious!
The zebra was quite a strong flavour & I'm guessing its near horse (a horse with its pjs on maybe?!)

So you know, Zebras got there stripes as they evolved , the very first Zebra ancestors was the horse and the first horses that were used to carry water pouches on the chain gangs were painted with the black and white stripes the convicts were wearing...Over time as the chain gang horses bred the stripes were passed on by genetics and hence the Zebra came to be...Now you know....
