The lunar eclipse tonite was fascinating. From our location, the moon glowed a brilliant red before it eclipsed.

The Bride and I sat on the tailgate and enjoyed the show!!

Great photo. The sunset at Mackinaw was beutifull last night as well. The whole sky was fire red. By the way mike there was 3" of snow in Gaylord yesterday. It was snowing really hard. I took a few photos I will post later today. Dave

Twelve degrees here last night, with a gentle breeze to make it feel colder. I was outside with the digital camera...but my bride was inside hugging the woodstove! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

It really made a huge difference. With the full moon reflecting off the snow our hill was bright as could be at 6pm. But by 8pm there was just a reddish disk in the sky and you could hardly see the snow!
