I often wonder, though, how much investment in that type of setup VS a small generator and gallons of fuel would be.

I've been looking for a battery for a trolling motor and MAN! batteries have gotten expensive.

Very nice. Let us know how it works out. Are solar panels pretty sturdy? Do you transport them right on the trailer?
Thank you!!Yes they are very sturdy and heavy, each panel is attached to the Superstrut bar by 4 3/8 screws, washes, lock nuts, haven't moved the trailer so far, will keep everyone update

Thank you!! That tiny setup was around 4k for everything, generator will win all the time... For a long time solution time will tell.
