So much for Utube "massive storm" My *****. Just a routing solar event but I will be checking the next couple of nights to see if any Northern Lights - wx sounds like it will be cloudy here though.

Granted the headline was written by the (dramatic) Britts...

The storm was caused by back to back solar flares on the 6th and 7th of this month directly facing the Earth...the storm is one of the biggest in the current solar cycle that began in 2007...
