This may be a silly question but I have to ask. I have a lot of difficult areas to cut, hillsides, rocky slopes, etc. along the roadfront of my property. Trimming the entire area takes 3 or 4 hours. Trimming that long totally kills by back, neck, arms. I tried using the strap that came with the trimmer but that didn't help any.

I was wondering if was possible to put some form of wheels on the trimmer to support it while I trim...?

Also, I'm open to any suggestions on maintaining sloped areas (like ground cover suggestions, etc., I live near Raleigh, NC). I use roundup a couple of times a year but now I got ugly dead weeds on my slopes...

Thanks,

Bob

Do a search for "DR Trimmer" There are several message strings concerning your very question. The DR is a self propelled brush cutter for rough terrain. You can use a variety of attachments including a string trimmer or blades.

I just pile rocks onto my embankments, got alot of rocks, and plant a few shrubs.
