Well, we vacationed in TN and as I thought, my wife just loved it. We are looking at early 2006 for our move. Probably after the snow stops falling. I want to see the potential properties without leaves on the trees so I can see how close I really am to a potential neighbor.

Here's the Knoxville area MLS. I used it a lot searching for property this past spring. Ended up buying a small tract in the mountains of Walland, just outside the Smokies...

You'll have to get at least an hour out of Knoxville to find the prices you're looking for per acre, and then not likely with the timber, etc.
