Tractor
Kubota B7300
Well, last weekend it was time to dig the potatoes, but we had a problem, due to scheduling problems, my Uncle was unable to be there (to drive the Case) . Lucky for us we now have the Kubota. My 15 year old daughter felt she was able to run the tractor while I did the walking part. She did wonderful and as you can see from our harvest all went well. Some pictures for your enjoyment.

Good pictures, Steve. Don't see a horse drawn plow being pulled by a tractor very often anymore./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Great pictures!!

Now, I gotta ask a question.

What kinda horse is that?? Never have seen a orange horse pulling a plow. /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif

I can appreciate the pictures. We havested ours about a month ago and got about 10 bushels from 6 50' rows. We used a 3 pt hitch middle buster and popped those babies right out.

Good to see that your daughter is learning how to use the tractor and the implements.

Scent,

Great pictures, thanks for sharing them/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Maybe next year you can trade jobs/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

I use Aluminium Sulfate to increase the acidity of the soil for potatoes. Side dress the row when the plants just poke thru and it will reduce potatoe scab.
