propane contract

I got my propane contract today. I can lock it in at 1.459. That is better then I thought it would be but .17 higher then last year. Has anyone else priced propane in their area?

I just filled my tanks for the year about a month ago; got it for $1.60/gal and was surprised it wasn't higher since natural gas is almost $12.00/mcf and oil is $67/bbl.

What are you heating with 40,000 gallon? I just contracted 600 gallon for my house. I still have about 50% in the tank.

About 90K large broiler chickens. It is a lot and I hope that I don't need it all. If it gets real cold and stays that way, I will use all of it.
