I have recently installed an AHS multifuel boiler. I burn mostly coal in it however. It has worked great so far. But, then again it hasn't been very cold as of late.
can anyone here that runs a coal boiler of any type tell me what burn times I can expect when it finally does get cold
(-10 - 20 degrees)
I know when I bought my outdoor wood eater, err,, furnace the company claimed a 24-36 hour burn time Yeah Right !! More like 6-8 hours if i was lucky.
I am no longer a slave to the wood pile that is out in the cold and wind. My new coal boiler is in a nice heated garage. Thank God !!!
