trashcan carrier

Today I'm trying out my new toy from Trash Can Carrier - Garbage Can Transporter . Kind of a handy little device for carrying the cans 1100' down the driveway. I got it for my wife to use when I'm not home on trash day. Since she won't drive my truck, the garbage usually has to sit for another week until I can get it.

I just put the bags in the fel and dump them at the end of the driveway or haul them down there on the tail gate of the pick up.
Other times i throw them on the Gt tractor trailer and tow em down there with the CC Garden tractor.

I don't know -- this gadget looks a lot easier to use than my tractor with loader. Plus, we could take the trash down to the end of our 700-foot driveway as part of a regular trip and bring the can back the same way. No special trip with the tractor & loader to carry a 60 lb. can.

My backhoe has a 2700 lb capacity, and using it for a single garbage can seems like overkill to me. I bet I could save $109 worth of wear & tear on the tractor in a couple of years.

I found that the garbage can hooks on a trailer hitch ball real nice, just lean it on the ball, and drive away! Just don't forget to drop it at the end of the driveway. Opps!

Attached is a picture of the trash can carrier I built for my Power Trac. It will also lift an attachment.

That is cool, I'm gonna build something simular that will work with my 3pt reciever hitch and use my little mitsubishi to carry the garbage out also.
