What's the best tires for my golf cart
My ezgo golf cart has been proven very useful. During the wet season, I need a little more traction for riding on my not so perfect dirt road. I think a set of off-road tires might do it. I have the standard turf tire on the cart right now. What kind of tires do you have on your golf cart? Any sugguestions on what brand and where to get them? Thanks.

I put a pair of these tires on rear of my Club Car. EBay Made a big difference in traction. But do not dig up lawn. They will not work in snow though. I could not find the EBayer that I bought mine from. Cost was low and shipping was about $10.

so you'll need a little lift to fit these ATV tires....
you'd be king in the neighborhood though

I bought a pair of these:
Super Lug Farm Tire Mounted on Golf Cart Wheel-SET/2: Buggies Unlimited
for my club car a few years ago for the same reasons you describe. I don't think the tires will spin at all with them on. Go just about anywhere if the water isn't too deep.Massey Ferguson 1455v 4wd, FEL

Take a look at the Carlisile Stryker. You can get it at Tractor Supply
It's got wide tread for the wet stuff but is still livable on pavement.

Don't go to tall with out a gear change, or power improvement.
Check out the forum at buggiesunlimited.

For the EZGO, what's the largest tire I can install without the lift kit?

If you don't have a lift your fairly limited to tire selections. I have a lifted electric EZ-GO with an open rear end so I try not to go muddin in it.
My neighbor has big mudders on his electric cart and I see him wearing out parts like stearing gearboxes, brakes and other assorted parts prematurely but he also uses his daily.

About 18" diameter for a non lifted cart. Here is a site that list different tires that will fit with and without a lift. Click Here.

I have these on mine and really like them.

I had some much more aggresive ITP ones but the ones with the big lugs tend to crack around the lugs if you drive them on hard ground. Picture attached. The picture has the ITP's on it. The carlisle AT 489 are much better tires.
