Default Re: TN70 vs. RAM 3500 dually 4x4

Part of my job had me mowing the sides of the haul roads at the mine. I was driving a 4x4 dual rear wheel JD4450 with a batwing shredder. As massive as that tractor is, it was one of the smallest vehicles on the haul road. The haulers are massive with tires nearly as tall as the tractor and traveling 50mph. It is scary business and the whole day I did that I was nervous as a cat. Add to the heavy machinery passing by me, I had to watch for stuff left on the side of the haul road. Large rocks, t-posts, large pump hoses and countless others things....all hidden by grass 3-4ft high....

I was already a bunch of nerves cause earlier that day, a hydraulic hose burst and dumped 6 gallons of hydraulic fluid into the engine fan which threw it back onto the cab of the tractor and the engine manifold....then once that was fixed and the mess cleaned up, the key broke off in the ignition. They say bad things happen in 3s so I was on the lookout for the 3rd...and judging by what had happened so far, it looked to be a doosy.
