Local news story in the paper today
GordNovo Tuesday, July 10th, 2007 Tractor accident kills man A man’s family witnessed his accidental death when a tractor tipped and rolled over on top of him in a freak accident Sunday on a family cottage lot south of Winnipeg. The three were doing yardwork at their riverside weekend retreat in the rural municipality of Ritchot, St. Pierre Joly RCMP said today. The man, 60, is from Winnipeg. He was moving earth when he drove his tractor on top of a mound and it wobbled and tipped over, flipping on top of him. The man’s wife, also 60, was in the yard working with the couple’s son, 29, when the accident happened. They saw it and called the RCMP for help. “This gentleman was driving a small family tractor on his recreational property when it rolled over on him and he passed away,” St. Pierre Joly Staff Sgt. Jean Cormier said. |

I would like to hear more details. The general public isn't interested in hearing what type of tractor, did it have a ROPS, did it have seatbelts, was he wearing them, etc. So, you often don't get those details in the paper.
But it sure helps us tractor folks better understand what happened and why.
