Re: The Ten Commandments of Tractor Safety
Tractor safety commandments are fine. Nothing against them.Be extremely careful when back filling. The total weight of the material plus that of the tractor and loader could cause the trench wall to collapse.
But what does the above quotation mean?? How should one do it safely??Egon

Dump the load on the ground and push it into the trench instead of driving to the lip of the trench and dumping it in.

Yea, I know that but the commandments do not state that.

Maybe I`m trying to say that the Commandments don`t mean much when one does not know what being safe really is short of avoiding the job altogether.
