The one with the lightning I have seen myself.

We were down at the beach in a rented house a few months after a minor hurricane had blown through. Not much damage but roofs need some repairs.

I was out kayaking and a thunderstorm blew up. BAD and SCARY close lightning. I paddled home ASAP while other people stayed on the beach. :eek:

I finally got back to the house. Long story about the trip home but that is another thread. :D After I get to the relative safety of the house on stilts, the lightning was hitting all around us. Very scary. On the house next to ours there are two roofers hammering shingles. There is lightning hitting every but on our street. It was insane. I was scared just being in the house. :eek:
