seen that some time ago, determination. I remember way back when, that we pulled a few logs out that way. We pulled a huge log once with an old 8n. It wheelied real good then the chain snapped. Problem was we were trying to get the log down a steep hill and the tractor had no brakes, atleast until it hit the tree at the bottom

He should have hung some front ballast and hooked that chain a hole or two lower on the tractor.

That was too unsafe for anyone to attempt but there are many who take chances to get the job done.

The problem with using front ballast and hooking the chain lower is that then he would not have the weight transfer to his back wheels and he would just sit there and spin his wheels.

Of course he could have just pulled a few less logs at a time and got the job done safer though it would have taken longer.

Who made that tractor? What poor QC! Look at it, parts loose and falling off, body panels with poor bends and no smooth surfaces, sounds like it is possibly skipping too.

Those are the type hardly ever get hurt..but hurt others.
