This hit home..

I don't know if the link from the local paper will work but it says a guy was killed in a tractor accident. This man was a brother of a real close friend. She, as you can imagine, is devastated. I'm not sure if a seat belt would have helped but it sure makes me think twice about NOT wearing mine. From now on I will always be belted in. Please wear yours.

I really do know if a seat belt would have helped in this situation either. The real lesson here is to stay in control of the tractor.

You are so right. We really do not know how it happened or what, if anything, could have helped or prevented it.

I just did some tilling of some bank sides prepratory to seeding. My brother ask if I couldn't go further down the bank and I told him I had a pucker factor that I didn't argue with. I do some stupid things on my own and I don't need any help.
