My wife and I don't have kids, but I get chills down my spine every time I hear about pto injuries and especially if young kids are involved. PTO shafts have always made me a little nervous and I probably put more grease in the plastic shield zerks than on all the zerks combined on my tractor.

Hopefully he'll recover completely and maybe some other "invincible" kids will learn from his accident. My motto is you can never be too careful around the pto shaft! I've even been known to park the tractor when I felt my mind just wasn't in it.
