There was one in the papermill I worked at 20 years ago, I don't know if they ever took it out of service before the mill went out of business. I didn't use it much.

I believe there are a few multi - story indoor parking buildings in New Orleans that still have these for the car hops .

Used to be one at Monarch Mills in Toronto. I was a contractor's apprentice and thought it was GREAT, just don't try carrying lengths of conduit and remember to keep your tool pouch tucked in. That was in the 60's
