Maybe the combine is equipped with GPS navigation and the driver went to sleep. That happened to a guy on a farm that my brother in law does maintenance for. The tractor drives itself till you get to the end, the the driver has to turn it around and he went to sleep, didn't turn and ran the big 8 wheeled articulating tractor off into a pond.
