My father signed me up for a tractor / farming safety class when I was around 12 years old. What an eye opener for a young kid to learn that real bad things can happen when using machinery. My only child showed zero interest in tractors growing up, so I didn't find a class for her....
I suspect most agricultural extension offices offer safety training for those interested. Thanks for posting this.
