Flaunt my tractor skills over the world-wide web? I think not. ![]() |

cobble it together for less than 200 bucks.
If you can do that, I will make a special trip to the east bay to bow at your feet. That sounds like a technological challenge! The GlueGuy |

Actually, Bill, the hardware for a tractor hiney-cam should be relatively simple. Check out the X-Cams for low cost cameras. I've been using one of their camera/transmitter/receiver packages for a couple of years now. I have a tiny camera peeking out through the curtains in a front room and broadcasting the picture to a TV monitor in my back-bedroom office. It allows me to monitor the front door and street to see if I really need to go answer the door. The best part is being able to see the UPS truck coming with my latest gadget. The flat-screen video display will be more of a challenge, but glancing at eBay I saw quite a selection for around $100. The trick will be to find a source for one with a built-in TV modulator. I found one place that offered a color 4" x 6" flat panel screen that had everything I wanted at a great price. Of course, they were sold out. I'll only be pursuing this in my spare time, which at the moment is non-existent. ![]() |

Harv,
Here's what you need.... One little toot would clear the area It is fun for new years too! It would signal both forward and back, giving anyone in the area ample warning. http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI...item=573525963 RobertN in Shingle Springs Calif |

Hey, thanks, Robert!
If I used that particular warning device, though, I'd have to be sure to keep the box blade mounted to clear away all the heart-attack victims. ![]() |
