With some of the recent postings on roll overs etc...
That got me thinking as my son gets older (tractor driving age) what are the main safety rules that I want him to practice? I could easily come up with dozens, but here are my top 5:
1. Use seat belt and ROPS when operating.
2. Shut off tractor when hooking or unhooking PTO shaft.
3. Stay away from PTO driven implements that are in motion (post hole augers, bush hogs, etc...)
4. Do not attempt to start the tractor while standing next to it.
5. Use caution when loading onto a truck or trailer using ramps.
What are your top 5 ???
