Awit....if I understand what you're saying and remember right, that jet should go up the tube from underneath.

I put my old craftsman carb together and accidentally had the jet in the hole on...

Re: Ring around the oak tree

I have always heard that oak leaves have a lot of acid in them, so you might check the soil and maybe add some lime, etc...will help the grass to grow.
Also using a grass that likes shade might help.

    Re: YTS 3000

I bought a 21hp YT3000 last fall and its a yard tractor. Not sure what the "S" is on the one you're looking at.
    There is LT's, YT's, and GT's.
The YT is a little heavier version of an LT.

  4. Re: Craftsman LT1000 - change speed while riding? Also... rear differential upgrade?

    Ok, here's my two cents.

    I have an LT1000 (917.271642) It's a 16.5 hp hydrostatic drive. Think it's a 2001 model.
My speed lever is very easy to move back and forth. When you hit the brake, it...

    j40 mower deck on a 224

I bought a 224 a couple months ago, and it was basically in pieces.
Put the mower deck on this weekend, and not sure I have all the parts.
Anyone have any good diagram of how the deck mounts.

    Case 224 attachments?

Just picked up a 1981 224, and am looking for a snow blade and sleeve hitch attachment.

Re: LT2000 Briggs quits when warm

I like to try the easy cheap stuff first.

You may be running short of fuel.
Try opening up the high speed needle about a half turn.
If that doesn't work, clean the carb really good and change...

I would check the battery cables one more time. Maybe take them off and hit them with a wire brush.
Also check the battery ground cable to frame connection...make sure it's clean and tight.

Re: stihl 038 cracked fuel tank

For safety reasons, a new tank would be best.
