    heck.. I got a floor jack someone left at the DUMP.. said it would not make pressure. I put an oring in it from a multi kit and filled it with gear oil. that was 20 ys ago and it still works fine!

    hyds usually bet neglected, most farmers remember engine oil changes every few years.. but seldom service the hyds till they fail.. thus if i were draining and refilling the hyds.. I'd always flush....

    I didn't read all 4 pages, but if front is on the side engine pump and works, no need to bleed.

    If you flush Hyds, add in a couple qts diesel, circulate, then drain.

    Another big leak cause is the bottom seal is hogged out due to debri getting wrapped around the shaft.. like twine and fence wire.. heck, even weeds that wind up and then get forced into the seal...

    If a bearing is bad, it lets it hog out the associated shaft seal.

    Up there at the bellhousing, you pretty much have 2 places oil can leak.. rea main from engine, or trans input shaft.

    Nope.. You will need da boom cyls, and a valve capable of it, which yours MAY be, might just have that spool in sa mode.

    Yup.. if you factor in time and equipment, it takes a bit of reloading to actually break even.

    things that help are when you get free lead or brass, or are given free bad ammo and you can pull it...

    If its a t?-20 the starter drive probably fell off in the bellhousing. A 3 jaw might get it.. But the flywheel and ring hear make it hard to see unless you have a borescope to go with it.

    Probably was about like a diesel n.

    The 172d, iirc, is rated less hp than a 172 gasser, especially the big manifold/carb hungry ones.

    I have 4 various lee press's and a rcbs rock chucker.

    Two lee 'C', a lee hand squeeze mobile, and a lee 4 hole turret.

    The turret will easilly size rifle cartridges up into the 30 caps...

    You can neck size for boltguns, but eventually you have to bump the shoulder back or you will get hard openings.

    Fl resize and shooting will eventually grow the brass.

    Non bottleneck cartridges can be gotten into cheap.

    25$ lee press, 28$ die set and the safety scale.. You will be in for less than a bill.

    Get to bottlenecks, then you need trimmers, etc
