    I know my tractor sits in the cold for days on end and maybe weeks. Where as most cars and trucks are use more often. I don't think it's the one cold shot that does it so much as the prolonged cold...

    That's me. Grab hook on one end, slip hook on the other. I also keep a short chain, maybe 2 foot, with grab hooks on both ends which I use if I need to make a long chain short.

    I have always used a #10 lens for welding and never had an issue. Google "Welding Flash".
    Propane, IMO, is a PITA. Yeah I know that explains a lot but I am sure others will add. As did deereman75.

    I would never use a 6013 on a piece of spring steel or a weld that has to take a lot of give without breaking. But that's me.
