    It would not be the button, it would be a on-off switch for the Tilt function that you most likely don't use when the grapple is on the FEL.

    Yep, the ground cable will be bolted to the engine block and frame, the positive cable will be bolted to the starter solenoid. Use a wire brush or sandpaper to make sure of good contact.
